How to Unhide a Folder

Usually when unintentionally we hide a folder by checking Hidden and then press OK. So the question arises that how to unhide that folder or how to retrieve it back.You don't need to worry !!
Just follow these Steps then you'll have access to all of them.


Step 1 :
Go into the drive from where you want to unhide
a folder.

In this case Drive is " D:\ " and we want to unhide folders in this drive.














Step 2 :
Follow this Path..
Menu Bar>Tools>Folder Options...

Go to the Menu Bar and then click Tools and then Folder Options..
After this a dialogue box will appear.












Step 3 :
Note that there is a <View> tab in this dialogue box.

Press that View tab then a list of folder options appear which are related to the viewing of the folders or the folders which are visible to the user.












Step 4 :
Press <View>

When you'll press View tab button then List of options appear which have check boxes and buttons too.
Find a option which says :
" Show hidden files and folders"
Because we want to see the hidden files and folders.








Step 5 :
Select this option..
 <Show hidden files and folders>

After selecting the desired option i.e "Show hidden files and folders" press OK  button.
NOTE : As you click the Ok button some folders which were hidden in this Drive were visible now.










Step 6 :
Files and Foldersare Visible now..!!

Congrats.!!
You have unhide all the folders in this Drive.
Note :
You can see that their is a difference in the previous folders and the folders which are visible now.Previous folders are clear but folders which are appeared now are faint because they  have Hidden check on.
To made them similar to the previous Unchecked Hidden.
